Plastic Bottles - #6 PS (Polystyrene)


Once recycled, this material is commonly used for packaging pellets or "Styrofoam peanuts", cups, plastic tableware, meat trays, to-go "clam shells".
Recycle

Styrofoam is not recyclable. You can separate and reuse or donate "peanuts". Separate beverage containers from other materials for CRV redemption. Otherwise, sort non-styrofoam #6 plastics with other #1-7 rigid plastic containers. Recycle Plastic Bottles - #6 PS (Polystyrene) at these locations:
